Coach Khan developed his youth career at San Jose Earthquakes Academy, he then played at De Anza College and transferred to Arizona State to finish college. As a co-captain Tyler led the team to back-to-back league championships and their first League Cup win in 2023.

After graduating Coach Khan joined the coaching staff and pushed the team to reach their highest ranking since 1999 in his first year!
