Interested in joining the Men’s Soccer Club at ASU?
Within the first two weeks of every Fall and Spring semester, we host tryouts and are on the lookout for hardworking, committed players who attend Arizona State University. We pride ourselves on being the highest level of competitive soccer here at ASU and providing our members with the best possible collegiate athletic experience while they pursue their degree. Everyone is guaranteed two days of tryouts. No prior soccer experience is required, and all skill levels are welcome. However, as a competitive team, we will select the best players for the squad. We look forward to seeing everyone out there!

Fall 2026 Tryout Registration
Your registration guarantees your participation in the first two days of tryouts (Round One).
Note: You may use your preferred personal email address to create your SportsEngine account. You do not need to use your ASU email address. This will be the same account you use to register with our club should you be selected from tryouts.
SCHEDULE
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your chosen/assigned session to check in and warm up.
Round One – Friday, August 28th and Saturday, August 29th
Session A: 6:00 – 7:30 PM
Session B: 7:45 – 9:15 PM
Session C: 9:30 – 11:00 PM
The first cuts will be made after Round One. If you advance to Round Two, you will be notified via email and will be assigned to either Session A or B.
Round Two – Sunday, August 30th
Session A: 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Session B: 9:15 – 10:45 PM
Further cuts will be made after Round Two. If you advance to Round Three, you will be notified via email.
Round Three – Monday, August 31st
8:00 – 10:00 PM
After Round Three, you will be placed onto one of our three teams and will be required to attend our club orientation the following evening.
Player Orientation Meeting – Tuesday, September 1st

COST
Registration Fee: $20
Paid online during registration and is nonrefundable unless tryouts are cancelled. We will not accept cash or other payment in person at check-in.
The registration fee will increase to $25 on August 27th, so please register early.
Registration closes Friday, August 28th at 5:00 PM.
ELIGIBILITY
Any Arizona State University student 18 years or older who is actively pursuing a degree and enrolled in at least 3 credits is eligible. This includes both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as online students and those from any ASU campus.
REQUIREMENTS
- WEAR A WHITE SHIRT
- Bring your ASU Sun Card ID or other photo ID for check-in
- Bring your own ball (if you have one) for warm-ups
Come prepared for tryouts with your own water bottle, cleats, socks, shorts, gloves, shin guards, underlayers, or any other equipment related to your needs and position. We will not provide any personal equipment. Water will be provided, and ice will be available in case of injury. If you have not been out on the field for a while, we greatly recommend staying proactive to reduce the risk of injury. Stay hydrated, stretch well, and focus on recovery between sessions.
